Plus, the charming interiors throughout made for an inviting atmosphere. If there's one thing I'd suggest, it would be to offer more local dining options within walking distance.

Staying at Parkes Manor was a delight. The grounds are stunning, with a charming garden and a lovely swimming pool. My room featured gorgeous decor, lots of space, and a fantastic lagoon view. Breakfast options stood out, especially the pancakes. The warm and attentive service added a personal touch—everyone was eager to help. A small hiccup was the load shedding during my stay, leading to brief power cuts. While the vicinity offered beautiful views, some roads into town felt a bit uninspiring. Regardless, I felt welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay.

On the downside, the noise from nearby traffic was noticeable, and the load shedding during our stay disrupted our plans. the accessibility in common areas could use improvement. Despite these challenges, the staff's friendliness and the well-kept, clean environment made for an enjoyable visit.
